Shillong, April 18: Meghalaya Covid-19 Response team today made surprise inspection of all the wholesale godowns both the Public Distribution system and the open markets in East Garo Hills District of Meghalaya.
In the official twitter of the Meghalaya Covid-19 Response team mention that this was done to check the quality of food items and to ensure that there is no hoarding being done by any one.
All efforts are being made to ensure uninterrupted supply of essential commodities in Meghalaya. In this regard loading and unloading in underway in FCI dodowns in Tura of West Garo Hills District.
