The NDMA and IRCS developed First Aid Mobile App for Students and Teachers

Shillong, Jan 21: The National Disaster Management Authority (NDMA) in collaboration with Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) has developed First Aid Manuals and Mobile App for imparting first aid training to teachers and school children.

This initiative, aptly named FAST (First Aid for Students and Teachers), aims to ensure that emergency situations in school premises are swiftly dealt with until the arrival of professional medical help.

A set of three manuals for Classes 8th to 10th, for Classes 11th to 12th and for teachers has been developed. These manuals can be accessed through user friendly Mobile App named as First Aid for Students Teachers.
