Shillong, Feb 21: At the INC meeting at Khlieh Umstem Village under Umroi MDC Constituency Bah John F Kharshiing, thanked the Congress Party leadership for working together with other parties and and called on the UDP, HSPDP, KHNAM and others to continue the good relations they have established through the KHUDA forum of MDCs during the past 5 years in the KHADC and looked forward to their continued support in the District Council after the declaration of results on the 27th Feb 2014.
He said that this approach of the Congress party in working together was based on the customary practice of the Khasi Dorbar where there was no ruling and no opposition but only the interest of the people.
He therefore urged the people to vote for Shri Albinus Lyngdoh Congress candidate for the MDC Constituency from Umroi. The meeting was also addressed by Shri Ngaitlang Dhar, MLA Umroi.(SP News)
