Shillong, August 06:  The delimitation of the three District Council constituencies in the state of Meghalaya it appears to be in dilemma. Though the election is jus few months left which is due in next year 2014 at the early part.

The Khasi Hills Autonomous District Council, The Garo Hills Autonomous District Council and the Jiantia Hills Autonomous District Council has pass their delimitation bill and submitted to the District Council affair department government of Meghalaya.

But in the recent meeting between the  District Council affair minister HDR Lyngdoh and all the Chief Executive Members of the three ADC it appears that the Bill pass by the three ADC in their respective District Council ha become null and void.

Sources close to the District Council affair fill that the timing for the Delimitation is too late for the department to prepare the election to the three ADC if all delimitation taken place.

Unless the present terms of the ADC are extended it will be difficult to go to the election since it involved alto   of formalities specially in preparing the electoral roll of the voters in the entire ADC constituency.(SP News)
