Shillong, August 09: In connection with the 67″‘ Independence Day Celebration of India, the Sollowing dignitaries will hoist the National Flag and take the salute at the ceremonial parade on the 1 5th of this month at various places of the state.
In the capital, Shillong, salute will be taken by Meghalaya Chief Minister, Dr. Mukul Sangma; in Nongstoin bv Shri. Rowel! Lycgdoh, Deputy Chief Minister; in Nongpoh by Shri A T Mondal, Speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly.
In Jowai by Shri. Sniawbhalang Dhar, Minister; in charge PWD, at Tura by Prof. R C Laloo, Deputy Chief Minister; in Williamnagar by Smti D C Marak, Minister; in Baghmara by Shri. P Tynsong, Minister; in Sohra by Dr. Ampareen M Lyngdoh, Minister; in Mawkyrwat by Shri H D R Lyngdoh, Minister; in Mairang by Dr. D D Lapang, Chief Adviser to the (iuvernment of Meghalaya).

According to the press released issued from the Raj Bahvan Shillong said that,in celebration of the 67th 1ndependence Day of India, Raj Bhavan, Shillong will be open for the general public on 14′” and 15′ August, 20 13 from 5:30 PM to 7:30. (SP News)
