Nongpoh, July 20: The Assam government once again today show it’s high handedness while sending it police force to dismantle the SSA school building at Sabuda village in Ri Bhoi District which was sanction from the government of Meghalaya.
According to information the SSA school building was already exist in the Sabuda village the new construction was an additional building which mean for cocking mid day meal for the school children in the village.
The Deputy Commissioner of Ri Bhoi District told SP News Agency that he has received the information about the police of Assam who dismantle the School building, the District administration is looking into the mater and will submit the report to the government.
The Deputy Commissioner said that the government of Assam has stake a claim that the area where the building is constructed in under the Assam jurisdiction and they have also question haw can the government of Meghalaya carry out it’s developmental activities in the area. The Government of Assam maintain that the status quo should be maintain.(SP News)
