We did not demand the Chief minister to step down, our demand is to implement ILP

Shillong, Sept 15: The Vice president of the KSU Fredrick Kharmawphlang,in a press statement today clear the dout from the mind of  the people of the state that the organisation have never demand for the Chief Minister so step down but their demand from the government is to implement the Inner Line Permit in the state.

Their stand is very clear that the government of Meghalaya should implement the ILP to restrict the inflow of illegal migrant and Influx to the state. If theses cannot be check the tribal people will soon be like Tripura where the tribal has become the minority in their own state.

In this agitation the organisation will not turn back on their demand but they will go ahead with their agitation till the government implement the ILP in the state. The vice president of the KSU urged the entire social organisation to joint hand with the ten organisations to put pressure on the state government to implement ILP.

He also urged the public to keep their support in these agitation till the government realised that the Indigenous tribal of Meghalaya need protection.(SP News)
