Shillong, March 11: The Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress extended helping hand to the house belonging to Shri. Biskomar Sohshang and Smt. Ripelmery Sangriang with 4 children which 2 children are differently able was gutted in fire on the 5th March 2021 at around 12.10PM in Nongaswit Village under Mawshynrut Block West Khasi Hills.
In this incident the family lost all their belonging right from Birth Certificate, Epics, Bank Passbook, Disabilities Certificate, Smart Card, Ration Card, Adhaar card, Schedule Tribes etcs, but it was fortunate that no one was inside the house during the mishap, there was no injury or loss of life.
Meghalaya Pradesh Youth Congress General Secretary Shri Fernandez Savie Dkhar and President Mawshynrut Assembly Youth Congress Shri. Raymond E Lyngkhoi along with members visited the family on the 11th March 2021 & help the family by donated CGI Sheets rice, utensils, blankets.
