Shillong,April 17: Deputy Commissioner Election of East Khasi Hills District, Shillong issued an order that In view of the General Elections to the Lok Sabha 2024, the Undersigned
directs that all Private and Government Educational Institutions, Schools,Colleges,ITI under Shillong Urban Areas shall remain closed on the 18th April 2024 being the Movement Day for all polling parties within 1-Shillong (ST) Parliamentary Constituency.
Compliance to this Order shall be ensured by the District School Education Officer, East Khasi Hills District and all Principals, egistrars, Controlling authorities of concerned educational institutions, stated the Deputy Commissioner (Election) and District Election Officer East Khasi Hills District, Shillong.
