In the run-up to this event, an intensive training program specifically for police officers of South West Garo Hills was held at the Office of the Superintendent of Police and Circuit House, Ampati.
This session was part of a broader initiative where Master Trainers from the Police Department, who had completed a rigorous two-week training at the North Eastern Police Academy (NEPA), conducted the training for local police officers over two days.
These training sessions are crucial for ensuring that all officials are well-prepared for the upcoming changes in the criminal justice system, which aim to enhance the legal framework and ensure better administration of justice in India.
