Shillong, Sept 24: As a mark of respect for the Sanitation Staff, NEIGRIHMS today organised a free health camp “SafaiMitra Suraksha Shivir” under Swachhata Hi Seva2024campaign.
More than 100 sanitation personnel availed the benefit of this initiative to get routine health check-up done. The camp was conducted very smoothly by the Resident doctors,Interns, Nursing personnel of NEIGRIHMS with the able support of sanitary inspectors.
Director NEIGRIHMS lauded the efforts of the sanitation department and staff for their active participation in keeping the NEIGRIHMS clean, safe and healthy. He added that the health of the staff that forms the back bone of the NEIGRIHMS services is of paramount importance.
Medical superintendent Dr. C Danialaadmired the efforts of the sanitation staff in following infection control and cleaning protocols to mitigate hospital acquired infections. The event was also attended by NSS volunteers from IHM Shillong who are participating in Swachhata Hi Seva 2024 campaign at NEIGRIHMS.
