Shillong, Oct 15: The Election Commission of India today announced by election to 48 Assembly Constituencies and two parliamentary Constituencies in 15 state in India, including 56-Gambegre (ST) Assembly Constituency in Meghalaya.
The MLA seat from 56-Gambegre left vacant due to the resignation of the sitting MLA Mr. Saleng A. Sangma after winning the 2-Tura Lok Sabha MP election recently. The election commission of India has fixed the 13/November/2024.
The ECI will issue the notification on 18/October/2024/ where candidate will start filling their nomination and the last date of filling of the nomination will be on 25/October/2024 date for scrutiny will be on 28/October/2024 last date of withdrawal will be on 30/October/2024.
The polling date is 13/November/2024 and the counting will be on 23/November/2024 and the date that election shall be completed is 25/November/2024.
