Shillong, Oct 20: NEHU-DeenDayalUpadhyayCommunity College for Skill Developmet, Wahiajer a constituent College of the North-Eastern Hill University (NEHU) hosted a six-day 14th to 19th October 2024“Musical Troupe’’ training program to three groups band members under the brand name ‘NEHU-DDUCC MUSICAL TROUPE’ committed to providing the highest quality and innovative performing of arts training. The mission is to inspire local artist, create music and help students realize their artistic talents.
The training program attracted a number of various young local artist, students passionate about music who are ready for a challenge, to develop and take their skills to the next level.
The program which concluded today the 19th October 2024was a success with the participants receiving new knowledge with musical training and demonstration from renowned film producer and distributor Prasenjit Mishra, the Resource Person who stands as a towering figure in Bollywood, charting an illustrious career marked by unparalleled success.
Prof. PrabhaShankar Shukla, Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of NEHU and Prof. S. M. Sungoh, Principal incharge DDUCC emphasize the university’s commitment to uplift the skill set of artists by providing an inclusive environment.
These allowing youths of the community to explore their passion and develop their musical skills both in national and international level for learning a new language, acquiring knowledge of different musical genres, styles, and techniques allows them to communicate with a wider range of audiences and collaborate with diverse artists.
The Valedictory Programme was attended by Shri. Sanat Solanki, Founder of Tantra Alternate Media Group, Mumbai, Maharashtra, India as the Chief Guest and in his speech expressed happiness to the university for organizing such kind of training program to promote the youths of the community. He encourage the participants to recognize their talents and keep working hard through strong commitments to reach their goals in life.
The programme was concluded with vote of thanks from Shri. WolnishRymbai (Programme Coordinator) along with distribution of Certificates to all the participants.
