Shillong, Oct 22: Lakme Academy Shillong celebrates 5th Anniversary in Shillong Today, we are here to celebrate the 5th anniversary of Lakme Academy Shillong Powered by Aptech. Shri. Paul Lyngdoh, minister of Arts and Culture, Tourism, Government of Meghalaya was the Chief Guest.
Mr. S. H. Mawlong and Ms. R. L. Kharbteng Directors of Lakme Academy, Shillong said it was on the 5th October 2019 Lakme Academy Shillong was inaugurated and is a leading beauty training academy in India with 150+ academies.
It is the first Professional Beauty and Wellness Academy opened in the state of Meghalaya. Lakme Academy offers certified beauty courses in Cosmetology, Hair Care, Skin care, Makeup and Nails. Our courses are accredited by Beauty & Wellness Skill Sector Council of India.
The curriculum is designed to prepared students for existing careers in industries like fashion, beauty, film & entertainment. The academy`s endeavour is to groom passion, style talent and deliver opportunities to make the world a beautiful place. We provide Live Project, Back Stage Events and Competitions for our Students.
Today the Beauty & Wellness industry has become a growing industry, especially for the youth to make a new age career. Today, the Beauty & Wellness sector is a billion-dollar industry.
They have trained hundreds of students over the past 5 years and all of them have been placed in the industry and some have become successful entrepreneurs.
