Shillong, Nov 27st: A driver of a truck (AS01EC – 3791) sustained injuries when the vehicle went off road on a turning after it developed some technical snag at Mawdiangum under Umling Block, Ri-Bhoi District. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nongpoh helped in shifting the driver Balram Kumar (20 years/male) to Nongpoh Civil Hospital. The incident happened on the 27th of November, 2013 at 5:57 A.M.
A TATA Sumo (AS24C – 1524) heading towards Guwahati from Shillong,was hit by a truck on the side and on impact the TATA Sumo hit a wall on the side of the road when the driver lost control of the vehicle. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based in Nongpoh helped in shifting Jai Pal Sigh (50 years/male) to Nongpoh Civil Hospital. The incident happened near the DTO Office at Downgate, Nongpoh under Umling Block, Ri-Bhoi District on the 26th of November, 2013 at 8:10 P.M.
A passenger travelling in an auto rickshaw sustained injuries when the vehicle was involved in collision with a truck at Kuligaon under Betasingh Block, South West Garo Hills on the 26th of November, 2013 at 5:21 P.M. The 108 Emergency Service Ambulance based at Ampati helped in shifting Minoto Koch (30 years/female) to Ampati CHC. (SP News)
