Shillong, June 15: The Police of West Jiantia Hills in their efforts to tackle trafficking have dialogue with different stakeholders in the district and in connection with the trafficking of minor children
In this connection the police has called for the meeting with all the owners and managers of hotels guest houses in the conference room Superintendent of Police office Jowai where Shri Bijay Chettri MPS Additional SP of West Jiantia Hills Distirict was present.
In the meeting Mr Bijay Chettri MPS Additional SP of West Jiantia Hills Distirict spoke about various issues that were needed by the hotels and guest houses to implement in order that their premises are not used for illegal purposes. There were 20 participants in the meeting alongwith the OC Jowai PS and IC ANTF.
