Shillong, August 06: The Lieutenant General Tumul Varma, SM, VSM, General Officer Commanding ,101 Area, called on Mr Tathagata Roy , Governor of Meghalaya, at the Raj Bhawan today, after assuming the command of 101 Area.
In his first visit, the General Officer discussed several relevant issues including the prevailing security situation in the State, and assured the Hon’ble Governor of continued and enhanced civil military interaction and cooperation.The Governor welcomed him to Shillong and conveyed his best wishes.
