Shillong, Feb 28: Home Minister, Lahkmen Rymbui on Friday, condemned the incident in Ichamati village wherein a group from another community attacked members of the Khasi Students’ Union (KSU).
The Home Minister also informed that a magisterial inquiry has been instituted into the incident to find out the truth.
Rymbui also informed that to contain the situation in the aftermath of the attack, the government has decided to impose curfew in Shillong, Sohra and Ichamati.
The government also decided to suspend internet services as a precautionary measure.
