Shillong, May 03: The Government of Meghalaya will allow persons stranded in North Eastern State after the registration end tomorrow Monday 4th April 2020 and they will be allowed to return back to the state after the completion of the registration.
The Government of Meghalaya will permit private vehicles to pickup family members stranded in North Eastern State. Citizen may register /apply by visiting: meghalayaonline.gov.in/covid kindly follows the order carefully.
In view of several request received from the citizen of Meghalaya stranded in the North East for allowing private transport, the Government of Meghalaya has made the arrangement for detail visit www.meghalayaonline.in/covid
This is for thus who want to return to Meghalaya with their own private vehicles should again register in the portal under the heading *Application for transit pass for stranded people coming to Meghalaya from North Eastern States* to obtain the vehicles transit pass.
Those who wish to go and pick up the stranded person or family members from any of the North Eastern State should also register in the above portal to obtain a vehicles transit pass. It may be noted that a maximum of only two people including the driver will be allowed to go from Meghalaya to pick up the stranded person or family member concerned.
For thus who do not have private transport the government of Meghalaya will be making arrangement as already notified on 29th April 2020. This was twitted by the Chief Minister in his official twitter yesterday.
