Shillong, July 06: The dorbar shnong of Lawsohtun today sent a complaint letter to the Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District against Smti Patricia Mukhim for posting unwanted statement in Facebook on the incident at Lawsohtun village.
In the complaints sent to the Superintendent of police East Khasi Hills District, the Dorbar shnong of Lawsohtun ha quoted what she has written on her facebook post that she also questions the Dorbar shnong. The Dorbar shnong said that her posting in Facebook has defamed the village as a whole without knowing the fact.
The Dorbar shnong also quoting the press statement from the police, “stern warning to any individuals who incites or breach communal peace, and harmony, as stringent action as per relevant provisions of law will be taken against them”.
Base on the police press statement the Dorbar shnong of Lawsohtun stated that an offence under section 153 A, 505 and 499 of Indian Penal code has been made out , the Dorbar shnong urged the police to register an FIR against her (Patricia Mukhim) and proceed in accordance with the law.
The Complaints letter sent today to the Superintendent of Police East Khasi Hills District was sign by the Mr Lurshai Shylla headman and Mr Khrawkupar Sohtun Secretary of the Dorbar shnong Lawsohtun, they have also sent the copy to Laban Police Station.
