Nongstoin, July 26: The FKJGP Kyrdum Mawsikar Umbyrsit Unit express it’s deep concern when they saw that some people from Assam came to Mawsikar on their bikes and bolero during mid day even though there’s a restriction for interstate movement by the government of meghalaya which was impose from the 23/07/20 .
This type of movement by these people from Assam to the areas of Mawsikar pose a huge threat and create fear among the people living in those areas as we know that Assam has a large number of COVID-19 and also they see that the number of cases is still rising in both the states.
The FKJGP Mawsikar Umbyrsit Unit demands the district administration of the west khasi hills district that it will take strict ways and measures to stop people from outside the state from comming into Meghalaya during these times where this disease or virus is spreading rapidly.
The FKJGP said that Mawsikar is under Meghalaya but the PMGSY road constructed by the Government of Assam said Mr Grassfull Nonglang General secretary of the FKJGP Kyrdum, Mawsikar, Umbyrsit Unit in the press statement.
