Shillong, Sept 08: The Police of West Jaintia Hills District on Monday night arrested three Nigerian national who enter Meghalaya illegally from Bangladesh at the village Thlumiwi Under Amlarem Civil Sub Division.
The police said that on 7/9/2020 they have intercepted one Maruti Alto 800 while checking the police found three occupants in the vehicles were Nigerian national suspected to have enter India from Bangladesh without Valid document.
The police said that the interrogation of the three Nigerian national and the three local person are in progress as they were suspecting that they were facilitating the entry of Nigerian national.
