The PEC recommend Mr. Highlander to AICC to contest MLA bye election from Mawryngkneng

Shillong, March 19: The Pradesh Election Committee (PEC) of Meghalaya Pradesh Congress Committee held today has unanimously resolved to forward the name of Mr. Highlander Kharmalki to All India Congress Committee as party Candidate to contest, the forthcoming bye election to the 13-Mawryngkneng ST Assembly Constituency.
