Shillong, April 09: The CRPF today observed the “Valour Day 2021” in Meghalaya the State Capital Shillong at the office at Polo Shillong this is to keep alive the memories of the gallant deeds of the heroes of CRPF and to motivate members of the forces every year 9th April is observed as the “Valour Day”.
North Eastern Sector Headquarter, CRPF along with the 67 battalion CRPF located in Shillong observed the Valour day at the battalion Headquarter today in Shillong. The occasion marked the extreme scarifies of the personnel who bravely, heartily fought for the country and repulsed the attacked by Pakistan Brigade at Rann of Kutch in Gujarat in April 1965.
Smit Sonal V Misra IPS, Inspector General of North Eastern State CRPF Headquarter along with Mr.Vinay Kr. Singh, Mr Ram Sukhpal Singh both are the DIG of the NES, Mr Mohan Prakash Commandant NES headquarter, Mr Mohd Yusuf second incahrge commandant 67-Bn CRPF and others officers and subordinate officers and various Shillong base formation were present.
On this day the chief quest along with others officers and personal take the pledge to remind the good deeds of the martyrs, and conveyed best wishes to the medal awardees.
