Shillong, May the Director Health Services Government of Meghalya today inform that the total COVID-19 positive cases tested today are 406, and the total active cases as of today are 3381.
The active cases in the District wise are, East Khasi Hills 1968, West Khasi Hills 123, South West Khasi Hills 11, Ri Bhoi 442, West Jaintia Hills 123, East Jaintia Hills 160, West Garo Hills 291, South West Garo Hills 110, South Garo Hills 64, East Garo Hills 49, North Garo Hills 40.
The number of person recovered today are 314, in East Garo Hills 1, East Jaintia Hills 8, East Khasi Hills 158, North Garo Hills 1, Ri Bhoi 31, South Garo Hills 2, South West Garo Hills 5, South West Khasi Hills 4, West Garo Hills 37, West Jaintia Hills 20, West Khasi Hills 47 total number of persons who has recovered 17354 till today.
The director inform that today there are 8 new death, out of which 7 are in East Khasi Hills and one in Ri Bhoi District and the number of death in the state had rise to 250.
The new cases that were tested positive today are, EGH: 06, EJH: 24, EKH: 226, NGH: 05, RBD: 16, SGH: 11, SWGH: 19, WGH: 48, WJH: 13, WKH: 38.
