Shillong, may 19: The leader of opposition Dr. Mukul Sangma urged the public to avoid self medication which is not advisable.
Speaking to the media after the All Party Meeting convinced by the speaker of the Meghalaya Legislative Assembly Mr. Metbah Lyngdoh to discuss on the covid-19 situation in the state.
“We are in the mist of the pandemic and the whole focus is on saving lives of the people as possible, it is very painful that many lives were lost”said Dr. Mukul.
The leader of the opposition sent his condolences to all the brief family who lost their love and dear one’s and prayed for each one of them.
This meeting was convinced by the speaker provided the platform as elected representatives to discuss and put forward suggestions to the government.
The leader of opposition who is a medical doctor described the virus is highly infectious, there is a need to know, to fight and we have to prepare what is required to be done.
Dr. Mukul said during this time of the pandamic there will be concern that will be expresses, from the government from the opposition and from the concern society, the government should take recognition express.
He urged all the individual to boost up immune system through physical activities, children should get proper sunlight so that they’ll have vitamin -D. As today this pandemic is in the second wave. He urged all the people to take care by following all the SOP issued from the health department from time to time.
