Shillong, Oct 26: The Government of Meghalaya has declared 30th October, 2021 as paid holiday under the N.I. Act, 1881 to all public and private commercial and industrial enterprises etc. including Shop and Factories falling under the 13-Mawryngkneng (ST), 24-Mawphlang (ST) Assembly Constituency in East Khasi Hills District.
And 47-Rajabala Assembly Constituency in West Garo Hills District being the actual date of polling to the Bye-Election to the aforesaid Constituencies to enable the voters to exercise their franchise. This was informed by the Principal Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, Labour Department.
