Shillong, Oct 31: A one day Legal Awareness Programme organized on occasion of the Pan India Campaign by the Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority in collaboration with High Court Legal Services Committee and District Legal Services Authority, East Khasi Hills District was held today at W. Rubyson S/S School, Sohlap and at Shella Market, East Khasi Hills District.
During the programme, Smti P. Riahtam, Legal Aid Counsel, DLSA, Shillong delivered her speech on free Legal Services, Fundamental Rights & Duties, POCSO Act, Child Labour and Child Rights, etc., and demonstration on basic life support, first aid, etc., was given by the Health Department.
