Shillong, Dec 24: There has been a recent surge in COVID cases observed in countries outside India. Although there is no reason for any panic but, in view of the festive season.
It is hereby advised that the general public may adhere to COVID appropriate behavior by wearing maskin crowded indoor places and adopt good hand hygiene practices.
Travellers who have come from outside of the country are advised to carefully monitor their symptoms for at least seven days from their time of arrival in to the State.
On any suspicion of COVID symptoms like fever, cough, sore throat, they are encouraged to immediate test themselves for COVID in any of the testing facilities across the State.
