Shillong, March 24: Major General Rakesh Kumar Jha AVSM, officiating General Officer Commanding, 101 Area today called on the Governor of Meghalaya, Shri Phagu Chauhan at Raj Bhavan, Shillong.
A brief overview of the history and responsibilities of the 101 area was provided by Major General Jha during the visit. The Governor was also assured that peace and security would continue to prevail in his area of responsibility.
