Shillong, Sept 13: The Governor of Meghalaya, Mr. Phagu Chauhan, today attended the National launch of AyushmanBhav Campaign, which aims at achieving universal health coverage and ensuring healthcare for all, at the State Convention Centre, Shillong.
The occasion also saw the presence of Dr. M AmpareenLyngdoh, Hon’ble Health Minister Government of Meghalaya along with the State Health Officials, the Deputy Commissioner of East Khasi Hills, the Directors of Health Services, the Village Health Council members from across the State, the ASHAs and others.
Launched through a virtual event by the President DroupadiMurmu, the AyushmanBhav Campaignis a comprehensive nationwide healthcare initiative that aims to provide saturation coverage of healthcare services, reaching every village and town in the country.
