Shillong, December 09: The Meghalaya State Legal Services Authority has organised the National Lok Adalat on the 9th of December, 2023 in all the districts of the State of Meghalaya, under the aegis of the National Legal Services Authority (NALSA).
In the National Lok Adalat, 595 Pre-Litigation cases and 384 pending cases were taken up for settlement. Total number of cases taken up was979, of which 177 cases were settled for a total amount of `1,20,98,568/-
