Shillong, Oct 17: As part of an effort to promote Shooting Sports in Meghalaya, The Shooting Association of Meghalaya (SAM) registered under the Societies Registration Act XII of 1983 and affiliated to the National Rifle Association of India is organizing the 10 meter Shooting Talent Search, on the 18th and 19th Oct 2013.
On the first and second day event is being held first at Pynursla St. Anthonys Higher SecondarySchool stadium, together with Pynursla Shooting Club and on the 19th Oct at St. Anthonys Higher Secondary School basketball court , Shillong. Both the events are to be held at St. Anthonys High School, Shillong and Pynursla from 9 am onwards.
The shooting talent search is being conducted for the two age groups of 9 – 18 yrs (Junior boys & girls) and 18 yrs and above( Men & women). (SP News)
