Shillong, June 16: The Director Health Services Government of Meghalaya Dr Aman War said that a lady from Meghalaya was tested COVID-19 postive in Assam and she was in Guwahati Medical College for treatment.
Dr War inform that the lady from the village Ampata in Ri Bhoi District bordering Assam has gone to Guwahati for Medical treatment, the hospital has taken swap sample from the lady, before the result of the test was declare the lady has return to her Village.
When the result was declare she was tested COVID-19 Positive the Government of Assam take her back to Assam and kept in Guwahati Medical College for treatment, tough the lady was from Meghalaya but test was done in Assam the calculation is with the Assam State.
The Director inform that till today the sample collected is 14188, person tested Negative is 13649, Active Cases are 15, recovered 28, deceased 1 and the total positive is 44. Today to person from West Garo Hills was twice test Negative so they were declears as recovered.
