Sgillong, May 17: A motivational cum awareness lecture to “Join Indian Army” was delivered under the aegis of Headquarters Recruiting Zone, Shillong by Director Recruiting (Headquarters), Shillong for the cadets of 2 Megh Bn NCC undergoing Annual Camp at 119 TA Bn,Shillong.
The numbers of NCC cadets were present at the lecture were 300. It was organized to generate awareness amongst students about the eligibility criteria, various types of entry schemes, pay and emoluments, training and various career options available in the Indian Army.
A separate information cell was also established wherein the cadets were distributed with various information leaflets, bookmarks, calendars & diaries etc. This was followed by an interactive session wherein all the queries of the cadets were satisfactorily answered.
