The delay in awarding these brave individuals has not only caused them emotional distress but has also been disheartening to their families and those who witnessed their heroic efforts.
Their actions have set an example of supreme valour, and the delay in awarding them the certificates and medals sends the wrong message to the public, undermining the values of recognition and encouragement for such acts of bravery .
For individuals who have put their lives on the line for others, timely acknowledgment of their sacrifice is of paramount importance. The delay in bestowing these medals and certificates not only diminishes the significance of the award but also affects the morale of the awardees and their families.
Recognition plays a crucial role in reinforcing the values that the award represents. By honouring these individuals in a timely manner, the government sends a strong message to society that bravery, altruism, and selflessness will not go unnoticed or unrewarded.

Some of the recipients have also expressed frustration over the lack of clarity regarding the timeline of the award ceremony. The uncertainty surrounding the presentation of the medals and certificates has caused significant anxiety among the awardees.
The joy and pride that should accompany the receipt of such an esteemed honour have been overshadowed by this prolonged wait. Moreover, it is important to note that some of the individuals involved in the rescue may have been affected by the trauma of the incident itself.
