Maligaon, April 16: To clear extra rush of passengers, it has been decided to run two special trains between Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Guwahati and Daund Junction – Guwahati for three trips each. These trains will run with fully reserved accommodation for convenience of the passengers.
Among these special trains- Train No. 01121 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) – Guwahati Superfast Special will run for three trips leaving from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 11-05 hours on Sunday to reach Guwahati at 14-15 hours on Tuesday.
The first trip of the train left Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 11th April and subsequently the second and third trips will be leaving Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus on 18th and 25th April, 2021. In return direction, Train No. 01122 Guwahati – Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CSMT) Superfast Special will run for three trips leaving from Guwahati at 07-20 hours on Wednesday to reach Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus at 04-10 hours on Friday.
The first trip of the train left Guwahati on 14th April, 2021 and subsequently the second and third trips will be leaving Guwahati on 21st and 28th April, 2021. The train will have AC- 2 tier, AC- 3 tier, sleeper class and general second class accommodations for passengers.
Another Train No. 01305 Daund Junction – Guwahati Superfast Special will run for three trips- on 16th, 23rd and 30th April, 2021 leaving from Daund Junction at 20-20 hours on Friday to reach Guwahati at 00-30 hours on Monday. In return direction.
Train No. 01306 Guwahati – Daund Junction Superfast Special will run for three trips leaving from Guwahati at 20-30 hours on Monday to reach Daund Junction at 21-50 hours on Wednesday. The train will leave from Guwahati on 19th, 26th April and 3rd May, 2021.The train will have AC- 2 tier, AC- 3 tier, sleeper class and general second class accommodations for passengers.
The details of stoppages and timings of these trains are available in Railway’s website and are also being notified in various newspapers and social media platforms of N. F. Railway.
Railway is following Covid related guidelines issued by respective state governments in various stations. Necessary help is being provided to the Health department of respective states for testing arrangement of train passengers.
Passengers should travel with minimum luggage and wear face covers or masks at the stations and trains during travel. Passengers shall observe social distancing both at the station and on trains.
All passengers are also advised to download and use the Aarogya Setu application before undertaking the journey. Railway has also decided to impose fine on passenger if found violating any Covid related safety guidelines.
On arrival at their destination, the passengers will have to adhere to prevailing health protocols of the destination state. All passengers are requested to co-operate with the railway and respective state govt officials in this regards.
