Shillong, Oct 29: The Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District, Shillong in an Order issued on 29th October, 2020 has allowed re-opening of all IMFL ‘ON’ License (Bar) premises with effect from 31st October, 2020, subject to strict compliance to the SOP issued by the ERTS Department, Government of Meghalaya.
All the licensees are required to intimate the office of the Deputy Commissioner (Excise), East Khasi Hills District upon re-opening and submit an Undertaking that SOPs will be strictly adhered to. Spot inspection will be conducted for verification of strict adherence to SOPs.
In case any violation is found, it may entail immediate closure of the premises by the District Magistrate as per the provisions of Meghalaya Epidemic Diseases (COVID-19) Regulations, 2020
