Shillong, March 16: Meghalaya Health and Family Welfare Department today has issued advisory notice to close down all Educational Institutions from 17th to 31th March 2020.
The Department has taken this decision is to prevent the possibility of an outbreak of COVID-19 and as a precautionary measure to safeguard the citizens of the state, the state has order closed down of all education institutions.
The Education Department order for the closure of all education institution except the examination centre for MBOSE, ICSE,NEHU, CBSE and others institution that are under examination from 17th to 31 March.
The health department has also issued advisory guideline to all parents during the period of closure, that they should keep their children away from visiting crowded palaces, parents are asked to keep the children away from contact with people.
