Shillong, June 26: Mr. Sanbor Shullai, MLA who is also the Chairman of the Monitoring cum Implementation Committee of 19th South Shillong Constituency has extended financial assistance of Rs.5,40,000/- sanctioned under Discretionary Grant of the year 2022-23.
This was handed to eleven Non-Governmental Organization and Voluntary Institutionn Traditional Institution/ Welfare Societiesfor organizing their various social and welfare programmes for poor BPL (Under Privilege People) Students, Youths and General public for the year 2022.
The name of the beneficiaries, Raid Laban Secondary School, Madan Laban, Shillong get one Lakh, Kench’s Trace Puja Committee for Platinum Jubilee Celebration Kench’s Trace Shillong get one lakh.
Deep Jyoti Socio-Environment Society Lumshatsngi-Kench’s Trace Shillong recived, Lumparing Gorkha United Club, Mynsain Lumparing, Shillong, Gorkha Association, Jhalupara Shillong, Ka Synjuk Ki Samla Seng Khasi Ri-Raid Laban, UpperKench’s Trace received fifty thousand each.
Lawei Traditional Dance Group Greater Laban Area, Shillong,Gracious Givers Foundation Madan Laban, Shillong, Young Mizo Association New Kench’s Trace, Shillong, Meghalaya Taekwondo Training Academy, Lumshatsngi-Kench’s Trace all received fifty Thousand each and Jyoti Sroat School Laitumkhrah, Shillong recived ten thousand only.
