Shillong, Oct 09: In pursuance of section 13(1) and section 15 (1) of the Meghalaya Fire and Emergency Service Act, 2012 and in the interest of the public, the Governor of Meghalaya is pleased to order that all buildings within Shillong city and its adjoining areas that are being used as hotels, lodges or homestays, resort as well as business buildings are hereby required to obtain a compulsory N.O.C. from the Fire Service Organization.
The notification was sign by the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya Home Police Department Mr. CVD Diengdoh.
