Shillong, May 6: The Congress MDC in the Garo Hills Autonomous District Council today sent the letter to the Chief Executive Member Mr Benedic R Marak requesting him to clear the pending salary of the employees that due to them.
In the letter sent to the CEM of the GHADC requested to find alternative ways and means to clear the long pending dues of the employees of the GHADC office as soon as possible.
It is not only the employees of GHADC office who are suffering but due to the Council administration office remaining defunct, business houses, citizens and Garo Hills as a whole is facing the brunt.
The Congress MDC urge the new CEM to kindly take necessary steps to ensure the restart and smooth functioning of the GHADC office and alleviate the problems of the people of Garo Hills and to address the issue at the earliest.
The letter was sing by the eleven MDC of the Congress in the GHADC, they are Mr Cherak Watre Momin, Mr Nehru D Sangma, Mr.Agassi R Marak, Mr. Nadhiram M Sangma, Mr. Alphonsush Marak, Mr. Habibuz Zaman, Mr. Ashahel D Shira, Mr, Pardinanad D Shira, Mr Sunjay Koch, Mr. Rinaldo K Sangma and Mr. Lahitson M Sangma.
