Shillong. August 03: This is for general information to all the inhabitants of the village under Betasing C&RD Block, Zikzak C&RD Block and Purakhasia C&RD Block that construction of new 33 KV Line from 132/33 kv Chiringpara Sub-Station to 33/11 kV Purakhasia Sub-Station have been completed the same will be charged on 06.08.2024 tentatively.
Therefore, keeping in view the safety of the general public, a statutory warning is here by given to the general public residing in and around the same villages not to touch any Electric Poles or Electric Wires and also not to tie cattle or domestic animals on or near the electric poles of the above mentioned 33 kV line.
Please note that the Corporation shall not be held responsible in case of any unfortunate accident due to disregarding of this notice. It is also being requested that, if anybody finds any electric wire and conductor lying on the ground, the same should be immediately reported to the lineman of your area or to the nearest MePDCL Office for removal and rectification.
