Shillong, June 24: The Dorbar Shnong Wahidenglieng has erected signboard in the locality prohibiting its residence not to throw garbage or discharge into the drain or rivers if any violators are found they will be penalized with fine of five thousand rupees by the Dorbar shnong.
The Dorbar Shnong Wahdienglieng, in the signboard has written clearly that this was done for protection of drains and rivers under NERCCDIP, Shillong. All household that are directly discharging any solid waste into the drain or rivers will be penalized.
