Shillong, Feb 8: The Chief Election Officer Dr F.R Sumer declare that Dr. Wandondor Rynjah Synrem was elected as the President of the North-Eastern Hill University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NEHUNSA) in the election held recently.
In exercise of the powers conferred by Article XI – Elections of the constitution of the North-Eastern Hill University Non-Teaching Staff Association (NEHUNSA) it is hereby declared that the following contestants are elected to the various posts of the Staff Council of NEHUNSA for a period of two years with effect from the date of sitting of the first Staff Council meeting.
The other office bearers who were elected through the election are, Mr. Shongdorlang Diengdoh as the Vice President, Mr. Jonathan Phira Nongbri as General Secretary, Mr. Danny Marius Synnah Assistant general secretary, Mr. Alok Chakraborty as secretary social welfare, Mr. Newmei Alex Huthombou as Treasure and others office bearers were also elected in the general election.
