Shillong, Oct 25: The Police during the Puja celebration, the East Khasi Hills District police conducted several raids and vagarious patrolling for the safety of the public and also to prevent untoward incidents in the city during the Puja Celebration 2023.
The Police conducted raids in Paltan Bazar, Jeep Stand, Mawblei Area, Khlieh Iewduh, Meat Market, Mawlong Hat, Umkaliar, Laitumkhrah Market, Mawbah, Jhalupara and Polo Market, during the raids police seised 102,910 liters of IMLF and 260 illicit liquor and 15,100 bottle of beer.
