Shillong, Feb 03: The Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya Mr. C.V.D Diengdoh today inform that in partial modification of Order No.POL. 117t2O2OtPt. t234, dated 1st February,2022, for funerals prior permission of the Deputy Commissioner, Sub-Divisional Officer (Civil) is not required.
But at the same time in the notification issued today mention that for funerals should strictly adhere to Covid protocols including the capacity of the , the Notification was sign by the Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya
