Shillong, August 1: The Under Secretary to the Government of Meghalaya, General Administration Department (B) has informed that as done last year, the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign is being organized this year also to encourage people to celebrate India’s Independence Day with same zeal and patriotism from 13th to 15th August, 2023.
According to the Under Secretary, General Administration Department (B), people are also encourage to put selfie with Tiranga on the website www.harghartiranga.com.
It may be mentioned that the ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’, a flagship initiative of the Government of India, was launched from 13th to 15th August, 2022 to encourage citizens to hoist the National Flag in their homes.
The idea behind the campaign is to instill the feeling of patriotism in the hearts of people and reminisce the journey of India and those who have contributed towards creating this great nation.
