Guwahati, June 22: Dhriiti-The Courage Within, in collaboration with Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH, is organizing four-day Her&Nowconclave for women entrepreneurs to be held online from June 23-26.
As a follow-on to the structured incubation and acceleration programme for women entrepreneurs through Project Her&Now, the conclave is a step forward to empower women entrepreneurs and decision makers.
The conclave aims to bring together thought leaders from across sectors to talk to Women Entrepreneurs from the North East Region and to re-energize their entrepreneurial journey.
Eminent speakers from the industry, financial eco-system, civil society and academia join hands with Women Entrepreneurs to bring forth a realistic understanding of women entrepreneurship space in the Post-COVID new normal.
In partnership with MoSDE and supported by the German Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development, Project Her&Now aims to improve the overall framework conditions for women-led businesses in India.
Her&Now and Dhriiti looks to provide dedicated incubation and acceleration programmes 180 women entrepreneurs from across Northeast Region by 2021. The project is also being implemented in Rajasthan and Telangana.
For its Cohort 2.0, it has recently launched the application to the 2nd batch of Project Her&Now for Northeast India. As part of the 1st batch, 80 women entrepreneurs from the North East region were selected and supported through the programme to equip themselves to build on their business ideas, grow and scale their ventures.
Over the course of the programme, the entrepreneurs were provide the opportunity to learn from mentors and industry experts through a series of capacity building sessions, one-on-one mentoring and customised support, peer connect and support community.
