Shillong, April 18: The Indian Metrological Department (IMD) predicts isolated rain that will occurred over Meghalaya in the next five days. The cyclonic circulation over north Bangladesh and neighbourhood now lies over Bangladesh and neighbourhood at 0.9 km above mean sea level.
The cyclonic circulation over northeast Assam now seen between 1.5 km & 3.1 km above mean sea level. The east-west trough from Bihar to Manipur at 0.9 km above mean sea level has become less marked. .
Under their influence there will be thunderstorm and Lightning and gusty wind with wind speed of 30 to 40 Kmph is likely to occur at isolated places over Meghalaya during 18th to 21st April, 2024.
Heavy rainfall is likely to occur at isolated places over Meghalaya on 19th, 20th & 21st April, 2024. Thunderstorm/Lightning is likely to occur at isolated places over Meghalaya on 22nd April, 2024.ü
